  • Battery charger control and charging algorithms
  • State-Of-Charge monitoring for plug-in applications
  • Battery depletion/sustainment algorithms to maximize value of plug-in application

Series Electric Hybrids

  • Automated engine control (starting, monitoring, throttle control)
  • Engine/motor/inverter/battery sizing experience
  • Complete electric drivetrain control (accelerator pedal to rear wheels)
  • Algorithms for engine control, power flow control

Parallel Hybrid Applications

  • Complete auxiliary functionality without engine running
  • Ability to recharge batteries from engine (with automated engine control)
  • Motor control for propulsion as well as stationary work operation

Group Agility

  • Ability to convert concept to working prototype in minimal time
  • Toolbox of skills and technologies that may be rapidly adapted to new applications

Group Flexibility

  • Not bound by conventional industry thinking
  • History of exploring leading-edge technologies rather than building “me too” designs
