Founding Member of EMD, Mr. Severino brings 28 years of Mechanical Engineering and Management experience in product development and engineering services companies to EMD. He started his career as a pipe stress analyst in the nuclear energy field, worked 6 years as a mechanical engineer working on cockpit cameras and test equipment for military applications, and then held a diverse set of positions (opto-mechanical engineer, mechanical engineering manager, project manager, and director of operations) in his 15 year tenure at Symbol Technologies. Mr. Severino has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Business Administration. Mr. Severino is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York and has his APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification. |
