Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Kuhl is a 2008 graduate of Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Kuhl was a design team leader of the Stony Brook Motorsports Baja team, which competed in the SAE Baja competition in 2008 and ranked second in the competition of over 100 universities worldwide. Mr. Kuhl brings experience gained from his two year internship at Symbol Technologies, recently acquired by Motorola. Most recently, Mr. Kuhl was a mechanical engineer at Odyne Corporation focusing on integration between the hybrid-electric vehicle’s electrical and mechanical systems, both on the sub-system and vehicle level. Mr. Kuhl has quickly become a key part of the design process with EMD. Mr. Kuhl also works closely with vendors and suppliers of automotive and industrial equipment in order to source components that support EMD’s product development efforts. His enthusiasm and insight into mechanical systems has enabled the organization to create a strong foundation for its mechanical design systems and processes. |
