Software Engineer
Mr. McGaugh has been involved in all phases of software development including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Mr. McGaugh’s specialties include expertise on various real-time operating systems (RTOS), communications protocols, and device driver implementations. He has provided key features such as remote management and control, and fault detection, isolation, and recovery in redundant control systems for mission critical communications equipment for government and commercial entities including NASA. Mr. McGaugh is a Senior Software Engineer for EMD and is responsible for leading its efforts in embedded systems software design, RTOS implementation and Autocoding for model based design. Mr. McGaugh developed vehicle control software for Odyne Corporation’s hybrid-electric vehicle systems. Mr. McGaugh brings in over 18 years of experience as a technical leader in the design and development of large scale embedded control systems from the telecommunications industry. He is the expert on development teams using many of the advanced and established programming techniques available today. Mr. McGaugh is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. |
