Founding member of EMD, Mr. DeMeo is the Director of Electrical Engineering. He brings over 3 years of hybrid control system design from Odyne Corporation and 12 years of experience from Symbol Technologies, recently purchased by Motorola. His responsibilities include the design & development of Odyne's hybrid-electric vehicle systems. As Director of engineering Mr. DeMeo has been a hands on leader in working with mechanical, electrical and software design engineering teams. Mr. DeMeo also works closely with the client and supplier base in order to establish a coherent strategy which encompasses technical goals, scheduling and budget management. Mr. DeMeo coauthored a US patent during his tenure at Symbol Technologies on new methods for feedback control loops. Mr. DeMeo is also a successful entrepreneur and has operated several small companies in consulting engineering, technical writing services and internet commerce. Mr. DeMeo received a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State. |
