EMD's principals have over 20 years of experience in the design, development and production of embedded control systems and power electronics. Ranging from hand-held devices to power conversion devices in the 100's of kilowatts, EMD has managed and executed many "concept to production programs". EMD's design process starts at the simulation level with the ability to perform Model In the Loop (MIL), Software In the Loop (SIL), and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing and development.

EMD's team has developed a variety of components and systems such as vehicle and sub system control, battery management, driver displays, vehicle networks, data collection and other embedded devices. We've also designed power electronic systems such as DC to AC converters, battery chargers, power distribution systems and auxiliary drives. Our power products are applied in traction applications and auxiliary drives for vehicle braking, air conditioning, power steering, etc.
